Alberto Zen is the founder and director of Zen Production. In eight years of work in music and live entertainment he has built a network of relationships with artists, theatres and institutions that is the heart of the agency. Zen Production is the structure Alberto founded in 2018 to give this work a home: a production company based in Venice that follows concerts from the first site visit to the final applause, for international promoters, institutions and artists.
The journey
2016 · Studies in International and Diplomatic SciencesHe studies at the University of Trieste, on a path spanning international law, economics and international relations. His thesis is devoted to the cultural policy of the European Union after the Treaty of Lisbon and to the Invisible Cities, Urban Multimedia Festival project.
Entering music and cultural productionHe builds his professional experience in the production of events and live shows, with work also within the Veneto Jazz ecosystem.
2018 · The founding of ZEN ProductionHe launches ZEN Production, a company specialising in the production of live shows and music events, today with its operational base in Venice.
2023 · Piazza San MarcoZEN Production brings Paolo Conte to one of the most iconic stages in the world: Piazza San Marco, in Venice.
Beyond VeniceAfter the success of the Venetian productions, Alberto widens the reach of ZEN Production, working on projects in Italy and abroad, across Rome, Germany and Switzerland, and collaborating with Italian institutions abroad such as the Consulate of Italy in Freiburg.

Andrea Bocelli’s concert in Piazza San Marco, on 27 June 2026, marks an extension of Alberto’s journey: around the show, Zen Production built a complete luxury experience, with guest reception, an aperitivo in a selected venue and dinner.
